Market bowels rumbling…

Yesterday was constructive, my analysis a slight octave out, but overall I’m ptty happy with the broad overview picture. This should retain a semblance of the current status quo although over yesterday it seems as if some pairs have already begun to see their bowels rumble. EURJPY broke below its rising channel support and GBPUSD failed to make a new high. These do appear to be warning signals but not yet at the stage where we need move too hastily…

Broadly, I tend to expect a similar outcome in most of the pairs. I doubt it will be a robust day but more a steady and maybe even slow development. This is not necessarily a bad thing and in some cases will probably be very useful to allow momentum to back up with supporting evidence. This is also the case with the 4-hour & hourly Price Equilibrium Clouds that are beginning to lessen their angles although still providing Dollar resistance.

Even the Aussie has begun to find the upside more of a struggle. However, out of all the pairs it probably has the better directional prospects. Of course, it is a currency that can tend to get a bit volatile at times – or the opposite – and just move sideways, but the basic upside is still the main direction but do be aware of one significant pullback.

As for USDJPY, well that was the pair that dragged EURJPY down. I had gone for a potential triangle but it appears to be seeing a recycling. This should keep the cross relatively quiet as it waits for the inevitable imbalance between EURUSD and USDJPY…

Take it easy today and observe for the end stages of this current move…
